🔴 Critical: Dutch NCSC: Critical Check Point VPN flaws exploitation is imminent
-
The Dutch Nationaal Cyber Security Centrum (NCSC) is warning that exploitation of two critical vulnerabilities in Check Point VPN is imminent. The flaws are tracked as CVE-2026-85102 and CVE-2026-85103.
According to the NCSC, attackers are expected to move quickly to weaponize these issues, making prompt patching essential for any organization exposing Check Point VPN gateways to the internet.
- Apply the latest vendor-supplied updates for Check Point VPN as soon as possible
- Prioritize internet-facing VPN gateways in your patching schedule
- Monitor for unusual authentication or connection activity against VPN endpoints
Organizations relying on Check Point VPN for remote access should treat this as a high-priority action item rather than a routine update.
