🔴 Critical: Microsoft Patches Record 974 Flaws, Including Two Exploited Windows Zero-Days
-
Microsoft has released its largest Patch Tuesday update on record, addressing 974 vulnerabilities across its software portfolio. Among the fixes are two flaws that Microsoft says have been actively exploited in the wild.
The update breakdown is as follows:
- 723 flaws in Windows
- 111 in Office and Office 2016
- 62 in SQL
- 22 in Developer Tools
More than 110 of the addressed vulnerabilities carry a critical severity rating.
Given the scale of this release and the confirmed active exploitation of two zero-days, administrators should prioritize testing and deployment rather than waiting for the next cycle.
